The Importance of Charity

In Judaism there is a tradition called Tzedakah. The closest translation would be charity, but unlike charity Tzedakah is the righteous obligation, deeply rooted within Jewish law and culture. It is more than simple act of kindness, it is about the fundamental duty to ensure justice, and equity in society. This obligation is not about personal feelings, it is about repairing the world, also known as Tikkum Olam and ensuring we leave it better for our future generations.
By giving, we not only support those in need but also uphold our dignity and humanity.
